Voucher Validity
The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed before its expiration. Expired vouchers cannot be replaced or refunded.

The JCEP™ – Certified Entry-Level Programmer with Java exam is an entry-level certification in the OpenEDG Java Institute certification pathway. It validates foundational knowledge of computer programming concepts and the ability to write, read, test, and debug programs using the Java programming language.
The certification confirms understanding of Java fundamentals, variables and data types, operators and expressions, console input and output, strings, arrays, ArrayLists, decision statements, loops, methods, object-oriented programming, recursion, and basic exception handling. Candidates demonstrate practical skills in selecting appropriate data types, manipulating program data, controlling program execution, creating reusable methods, working with classes and objects, applying introductory object-oriented principles, tracing recursive method execution, and handling common runtime exceptions.
The exam consists of 34 single-select, multiple-select, interactive, and scenario-based questions and has a duration of 60 minutes.
The exam content is divided into five blocks:
- Computer Programming and Java Fundamentals
- Data Types, Variables, and Data Structures
- Flow Control and Program Execution
- Object-Oriented Programming
- Methods, Recursion, and Exception Handling
