This product provides an Exam Voucher with Retake that authorizes one exam attempt plus one retake if the first attempt is not passed. Once redeemed, the voucher cannot be reused, transferred, or extended.
Retake note: If you fail the exam, please submit the Pearson VUE Retake Voucher Request Form within the valid timeframe to obtain your retake voucher. Retake vouchers are provided only after an unsuccessful first attempt and cannot be issued for absences, policy violations, or other disqualifying circumstances defined in the Testing Policies.
The voucher is valid for at least 12 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed before its expiration. Expired vouchers cannot be reissued or refunded.

This voucher must be redeemed during the scheduling of your exam through Pearson VUE. To schedule your session, create or log in to your Pearson VUE account, select the JSA-41-01 exam, and enter your voucher code at checkout.
The exam is delivered exclusively via Pearson VUE, the global test delivery provider for OpenEDG JS Institute exams. Candidates may take the exam at an authorized Pearson VUE testing center or in an online proctored environment (OnVUE Online Proctoring from Pearson VUE).

The JSA™ exam confirms that a candidate can build and reason about JavaScript programs using intermediate language features. It focuses on how JavaScript objects work with and without classes, how prototypes and class syntax relate, how to use and extend core built-in objects, and how to apply advanced function techniques such as higher-order functions, closures, and more sophisticated parameter handling.
The exam consists of 40 questions and has a duration of 60 minutes.
