Voucher Type
This product includes a Single-Shot Exam Voucher authorizing one attempt at the PCAT™ – Certified Associate Tester with Python certification exam. Once redeemed, the voucher cannot be reused, transferred, or extended.
Voucher Validity
The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed before expiration. Expired vouchers cannot be replaced or refunded.

The exam is delivered exclusively through TestNow™, the OpenEDG Testing Service platform supporting secure remote and authorized testing-center sessions.
Redemption Instructions
Redeem your voucher in the TestNow™ system — sign in, switch to your Test Candidate profile, open Certification, select Take Exam, and enter your voucher code to schedule and launch your exam. To store the voucher for later use, select Assign Voucher.

The PCAT™ – Certified Associate Tester with Python certification validates associate-level software testing skills with a strong focus on Python-based testing. It covers software testing fundamentals, test automation concepts, assertions and decorators, unit testing frameworks, advanced unit testing techniques, and the principles of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
The exam consists of 42 questions (single-select, multiple-select, and scenario-based items) and has a duration of 60 minutes.
The scope of certification includes the following topic areas:
- Software Testing Essentials (16.7%)
- Test Automation and Code Refactoring (9.5%)
- Assertions, Context Managers, Decorators, and Python Methods (11.9%)
- Foundations of Unit Testing (28.6%)
- Advanced Unit Testing Techniques (26.2%)
- Test-Driven and Behavior-Driven Development (7.1%)
